Euro-Penn UnionShort

Here’s the European title of Harold and Kumar. The subtitle reads ‘Harold & Kumar - Let’s Get Retarded,’ which is maybe redundant.

There are actual castles instead of White Castles out there, so they didn’t want people getting all confused. And unlike us Americans, those Euros gleefully tolerate cheesecake.

Nope, no cheesecake on this here blog ;)

The UK release was called Harold & Kumar Get the Munchies

I watched it on an American bootleg from my friendly neighbourhood Vietnamese bootleg movie merchant. But my copy screws up and ends two minutes from the end, when Harold starts getting fresh with the Mexican chick in the elevator. So my question is, what happens in the last minutes of the film after that? How the hell does it end?

So, was I the only one who noticed that Harold and Kumar was a remake of the Odyssey?

Oh, I was?

Goddamn, I'm a nerd.

from angryasianman (5.21.05 post):

Just a reminder, you can vote for Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle at the 2005 MTV Movie Awards. As previously mentioned, comedic duo John Cho and Kal Penn have been nominated for two awards, Best On-Screen Team and Best Musical Performance (for their stunning rendition of "Hold On"). You can vote for them online. Stuff that ballot box, so we can see two Asian American guys go up on stage and give a speech. Wouldn't that just be incredible? Yeah.
