Don't Call it a ComebackTV
Mutineer anti-favorite Toral Mehta is on the Apprentice again tonight. Joy. ;) Actually, I should’ve seen this coming; Rebecca had the most ridiculous soft shpot for her friend Toral, a.k.a. the woman who established herself as a righteous defender of the Hindu faith with her refusal to don a costume.
Were any of you watching while I was? I thought Carolyn’s eyes were going to turn Rebecca to stone when she made such a controversial pick for her team of three assistants, but that’s just me. Mais oui, the only female contender left resumed her familiar stoic, I-might-be-wrong-about-this- but-I’m-going-to-nod-emphatically schtick. Oh yeah, since the finale is a two-parter, you get some Toral NEXT week, too. Chrismukkah comes early this year, truly.

I was so surprised to see her pick Toral, but I guess it makes sense in a way. You could pick 3 of the smartest people for your team, but they may not necessarily be loyal to you. But Toral owes Rebecca big time so she'll be her little assistant.
Am I the only one excited about what will happen next week? =)
I liked her gutsy come back when Trump teased her about being on the team: "Rebecca recognizes talent" =)
Gosh, I'll have to miss a lab Christmas party for this one. Who wants to split beers with fellow geeks when I could be liveblogging Mehta?

Honestly, I have no freaggin clue as to why Rebecca picked her. She gave her a chance back then and Toral did not do squat. If I am right, history will repeat itself.
Desidudeinaustin: Get a DVR (TIVO). That's how I catch every episode of every show that I like.
