Beware Canadians are quite grouchy this time of the year since their igloos have mostly melted.

You guys do know that this Saturday is game 1 of the Stanley Cup final and another year the losers Toronto Maple Leafs came nowhere close to getting the cup. So should expect a good turnout for this.

When are we going to have a meetup in London....and I don't mean Ontario. There have to be plenty of mutineers this side of the pond, in the old world. Speak up, chaps and chapettes! We need to get together and show these American pretenders how to have some real intellectual, socially-aware, ironic, post-modern conversation.

People keep asking about this, but it's never happened: what about an Atlanta meetup? There are brown folks all over the place here, and the SM blog format doesn't make it easy for readers to communicate and organize one ourselves.

Sunshine? What sunshine? Our summers consist of pouring rain ;)
